Millettia stuhlmanii is of the family Leguminosae (legume) also know by Jambrie, messara.Its found throughout East and Middle Africa.

Panga Panga and wenge have similar properties; both are brown to almost black with a distinctive appearance due to lines of paler tissue. This creates a stunning " partridge wing" affect in the timber.The grain is usually straight and is a dense wood.Used mainly in flooring, furniture and ornamental turning.
